Happy New Year to everyone in Maasai land, the blogging world, and beyond! This will be a quick little post just to stay on your radar. The babies at Namayana Nursery School started their new school year on January 13th, so I will post a few pictures for you to enjoy. The newest students still don’t have their uniforms yet as everything is tailored and made to order over there…you can’t just go to a department store and buy something off the rack for school. We have a particular tailor/seamstress that we use, so it can take up to and over a month for her to make twenty-five to thirty new uniforms every year. I also started “back to school” the same week. I am pursuing my master’s in organizational leadership to help me become a more effective leader of our little school/project, “The Namayana Project”. So far, I am really enjoying it, but truthfully, I have never outgrown being a “student” (hence…teaching). I still revolve my calendar around the school year in America. Keep following for more updates and follow us on our social medias (FaceBook, Instagram, Threads) by searching for “Namayana Project”.
